JS-Foil Basin
The JS-Foil Basin is a closed system with the opportunity to store slurry, polutted water, purified water, sludge, etc. This basin can be realized with or without a floating cover. To get a homogeneous liquid after a period of storage we can offer different systems to mix the contents of the JS-foil basin.
The JS-foil basin is an excavated pit in the ground and the dykes are build of the soil left from the excavation. The depth of the pit depends on the groundwater level at the building location. JS-foil basins are made-to-measure and will be to your wishes and demands. In this way a JS-foil basin can be realized almost everywhere.
The bottom foil will be made of Nicoflex 800 HSPO (High Strength Polyolefin), weight 970 gr/m² and the material used for the floating cover will be Nicoflex 1000 HSPO, weight 1130 gr/m². The Nicoflex foil is a LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) foil reinforced with a polyester net.
This gives our foil the unique characteristics of being very strong, very UV-resistant and very flexible. Even at -40°C. In consultation with the customer the JS-foil basin can also be assembled with other kinds of foil like PVC or EPDM.
The discharge- and feedstation will be produced with high quality materials. And will be made according the customers wishes and needs.
JS-Silo System
These silo's are Suitable for storage of fluids. Volumes from 192 m3 till 1246 m3 are possible. The covering of the fluid is done by a floating cover. A discharge station is used for filling and emptying the silo. Mixing the fluid goes through a special mixing nozzle in the middle of the silo.
The meshed elements are completely galvanized. Height of the elements is 3,0 m, the width approximately 2,5 m. The elements are connected to each other with bolts. Elements will be placed on concrete tiles. When the bottom is very weak (peat), ground improvement will be needed.
The material of the liner depends on the kind of fluid that will stored in to the silo. For manure the liner is made of a material called Nicoflex 800 HSPO. This material is a Height Strength Polyolefin, reinforced with polyester. Between the liner and the elements there is a layer of HDPE foil to protect the liner from damaging. When the silo is used for water, the liner will be made of PVC.
To cover the fluid, there is a floating cover mounted in the silo. The cover will float on top of the fluid and will move up or down depending on the level of the fluid. It is possible to make a hatch in the floating cover for inspection or to mix the fluid from above. The material used for the cover will be the same as the liner.
APPEL Concrete Silo's
Our concrete silo is the perfect solution for the storage of fluids, such as manure, water, and sludge. Due to the building quality and used materials a reliable product is delivered.
The elements used do have a constant quality. This as a result of the indoor manufacturing. This controlled envirement gives us for every element the same perfection. The concrete used is a self-compacting-concrete (SCC).
There is almost no maintenance necessary during the lifespan of the silo. The concrete walls are resistant to damages form outside sources like tractors or cars.
When needed the wall elements can be relocated to an other location. The elements we deliver are 4, 5 or 6 meters height. And the maximum diameter of the silo is 30 meters. The silo is hold together with several steel bands located on various heights on the outside of the silo.
Every silo build is provided with a tensioned cover from a polyester fabric, coated with PVC. In dialogue with the customer other forms of covering are possible.
