The Alvan Blanch Flush Clean system utilised farm sourced liquids
to wash cubicle passages, milking parlours and collection /
handling areas, bringing a new dimension to cow management,
health and hygiene.
The flush valve releases a turbulent volume of liquid that
sweeps away the manure, bedding and other wastes in just seconds. The
resulting flushed slurry can be recycled, stored or used for
field application.
Alvan Blanch Flush systems are operating in different environments
for dairy, beef, poultry and pig applications. Utilising recycled
liquid for washing surfaces used by livestock allows for a
simple design and operation for all sizes of unit layout.
System Advantages
- Better housing environment
- Better animal health and hygiene
- Better animal performance and profitability
- Better utilisation of time and labour
- Better economic reward for farm business

System Operation
The master control station is connected to each compressed
air valve which opens and closes each flush valve, determining
the frequency, duration and therefore the volume of each
flush. The released liquid sluices down the passage,
washing all manure and waste bedding into a collection
tank or channel.
The flushed slurry passes through a separator, removing
the solid matter and the recycled separated liquid is used
to replenish the flush system storage tank, with the surplus
liquid going to the main storage facility.
The Alvan Blanch flush system is animal welfare friendly
with few moving parts to cause injury to livestock or famage
to other equipment.
